Principals

D. Michael Frye, R.A. is a registered architect who fills a leadership role in many of Murray Associates’ most important projects. He is a native of Altoona and a graduate in architecture from Williamsport Area Community College. After graduation, he spent a number of years with the architectural firm of Lawrie and Green before joining Murray Associates in 1978. In addition to building design, Mr. Frye’s expertise includes site development and construction administration. As a Principal in the firm, Mr. Frye is continuously involved in all phases of the design and construction process, with particular emphasis on design coordination, document production, and construction administration. Mr. Frye monitors all aspects of each project daily to insure that decisions are made in a timely manner by the appropriate project stakeholders. He is responsible for expediting the design schedule, and actively monitors and advises on issues of project cost. |

Benedict H. Dubbs, AIA, LEED AP is a registered architect and joined Murray Associates in 1984. He is the Principal responsible for all programming, planning, architectural design and interior design. Mr. Dubbs graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Industrial Arts and Industrial Design. He received
his Masters Degree in Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and has served as a college faculty member in architecture, and as a municipal building inspector. He previously held positions with Hayes Large
Architects, Bink Architectural Partnership, and John M. Kostecky (now Vitetta Group). As a Principal in the firm, Mr. Dubbs is continuously involved in all phases of major projects, with particular emphasis on programming, conceptual design, and design coordination. Along with Mr. Frye, Mr. Dubbs is continuously involved with
every major project to assure continuity of project leadership. |
